Back to the Gaff Launch on Bloomsday

So the big news this month is I’m doing a proper launch for Back to the Gaff on Bloomsday. Although the book had a limited print run from 2014, this is actually my first launch. From 2011 to 2016 I was full time in Italy so, as you can imagine, trying to sell books in Ireland while carrying out virtually no promotion and living the opposite end of Europe is not an effective business model!

This edition of the book has a brand new gorgeous cover designed by the brilliant Kevin Bohan (artist and muralist at the Icon Factory, Temple Bar). Kevin, together with Aga, the manager and Barney, legend and benefactor, suggested we have the book launch in the Icon Factory. Together we’re looking forward to drinking some wine with old friends and hopefully meeting some new ones.

Since the launch is on Bloomsday, we will be having a Joycean theme, with all encouraged to dress up in Bloomsday atire or at least a silly derby hat. The artists will be painting Joycean images outside from 5pm and you are invited to participate and take home your creation.
Inside we will have some live music and wine as well as a couple of readings. All are welcome to join in the craic. Here is the Facebook Event.

If you would like a signed paperback, dedicated to whomever you choose, send me a quick message. I’m happy to oblige.

eBooks are available on this website or if you prefer to worship at the shrine of capitalism here are links to the various Amazon sites where you may purchase ebooks or paperbacks.
